patterns of warmth






The King cabin is primarily and historically a place for the men to stay during hunting seasons. In times past, the King ladies would also come along and spend afternoons quilting on the porch.
Here are some details of some of the quilts, many of them re-stitched and re-patched many times, holes wearing away to reveal other fabrics beneath.
